The Village of Union Springs has released the official list of candidates for the upcoming village election, set for Tuesday, March 18.
Residents will cast their votes at the Village Meeting Room, located at 26 Chapel St., with polls open from noon to 9 p.m. The election will determine the village’s next mayor and two trustee positions.
Robert Thurston Jr. is the sole candidate for mayor, running for a two-year term under the United Party of Union Springs. The trustee race features two candidates—William Boyd Jr. and Jeremy Smith—both also running under the United Party of Union Springs for two-year terms.
The nominations have been officially filed with the Village Clerk, ensuring a straightforward ballot for voters on election day.
