A Lansing woman was arrested on a felony DWI charge following a traffic stop in the Town of Tyre, according to Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson.
Deputies arrested 44-year-old Melissa Ipson on March 11 after allegedly observing her vehicle speeding and failing to keep right. Upon investigation, authorities determined Ipson had a blood alcohol content of .12%.
Because of a prior DWI conviction within the past 10 years, Ipson was charged with felony driving while intoxicated. She was transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center and later released with an appearance ticket.
