The Buffalo Bills have found their new pass rusher.
Just two days after releasing veteran Von Miller in a cost-cutting move, the Bills have agreed to a one-year contract with five-time Pro-Bowler Joey Bosa worth $12.6 million, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Tuesday night.
Bosa, who turns 30 in July, was released by the Los Angeles Chargers last Wednesday, ending his tenure as the team’s longest-serving player.
Since being drafted third overall by the Chargers in 2015, Bosa has established himself as one of the league’s top pass rushers. However, injuries have been a recurring issue, causing him to miss 23 games over the past three seasons due to core and foot ailments. Over his nine-year career, he has amassed 72 sacks, 87 tackles for loss, and 156 quarterback hits.
This marks Buffalo’s third free-agent signing this week after the team agreed to deals with wide receiver Josh Palmer and defensive tackle Michael Hoecht.
