The Dansville community is preparing to welcome home Ryan Corbett, a local father recently freed after nearly 900 days in Taliban captivity. His homecoming celebration will take place at Dansville High School on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Superintendent Kelly Zimmerman expressed excitement about hosting the event, which will feature speeches from local leaders, performances by students, and remarks from Corbett himself. The Corbett family will publicly thank the community and Congresswoman Claudia Tenney for their support.
While some political figures involved in Corbett’s release are expected to attend, organizers emphasize that the event is a bipartisan celebration of unity. Attendees must register with ID for entry.
