A Corning man has been arrested on multiple charges following a reported domestic incident at a retail store in Steuben County.
According to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested Louis A. Paulo, 55, on March 5 after he allegedly unlawfully entered or remained inside a business in the Town of Corning and forcibly stole property from another person.
After leaving the scene, Paulo was located by deputies near his residence and taken into custody. He has been charged with burglary in the third degree and robbery in the third degree, both class D felonies, as well as petit larceny.
Paulo was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail without bail.
