Prosecutors say a Hornell man is headed to prison for distributing meth.
Kenneth Turner, 36, of Hornell, was sentenced to eight years in federal prison for conspiracy to possess and distribute methamphetamine. His arrest followed the interception of a package from Nevada containing 111 grams of meth, which was sent to his residence.
A search of Turner’s home uncovered additional meth and drug paraphernalia. The case, prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, was investigated by the DEA, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and Steuben County Sheriff’s Office.
Turner’s conviction underscores ongoing federal efforts to combat drug trafficking.
