The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) has announced that tickets are now available for the 2025 Boys and Girls Basketball State Championships, set to take place March 20-23.
The girls’ tournament will return to Hudson Valley Community College in Troy for the 28th consecutive year, while the boys’ tournament will be held at Visions Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton for the first time since 2019 under a new three-year bid.
General admission for both tournaments is $12 per day for the girls’ event and $12 per session for the boys, with premium floor seating for boys’ games available at $16.75 per session. Tickets must be purchased online at gofan.co/NYSPHSAA, and suite options for the boys’ tournament can be arranged by contacting Chris Joyce at cjoyce@nysphsaa.org.
“There is a lot of excitement and enthusiasm in Troy and Binghamton to host these events once again,” said NYSPHSAA Executive Director Dr. Robert Zayas. “Section 2 and IV have dozens of great volunteers in place at both these incredible venues and hard-working tournament directors and committees ready to provide a top-notch experience to student-athletes, coaches, and fans.”
The tournaments will feature a total of 18 games each across six classifications. The girls’ finals will be held Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday morning, while the boys’ championship games will take place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
