The Town of Scipio Board will meet on tonight at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall on Route 34 in Scipio Center. A presentation from Liberty Renewable’s Scott Biggar on the Agricola Project—a large-scale renewable energy initiative—will be a focal point of the meeting.
The board will also review and potentially approve the minutes from its January 8 session under Resolution 2025. Town officers, including the Assessor, Clerk, Highway Superintendent, and Code Enforcement Officer, are scheduled to provide updates on current projects and issues. Reports from board members Susan Allen, Jason Botsford, Nancy Hart, and Melinda Pitman will follow.
Other agenda items include the Supervisor’s Report and a review of the 2025 budget Abstract 2. The board is expected to vote on resolutions for both General and Highway Fund expenditures.
Residents are encouraged to attend, especially as the board will open the floor to community members for questions and concerns early in the meeting. The next monthly meeting is set for March 12.
