A 29-year-old man was arrested on Monday after authorities say he repeatedly harassed his ex-girlfriend with phone calls and threatening text messages.
Bradley L. Davis was taken into custody by Cayuga County Sheriff’s deputies on February 10 at 9:42 a.m. following his release from Oswego County Jail, where he had been held on unrelated charges. His arrest stems from an incident reported on August 13, when deputies responded to a domestic complaint in the town of Cato. The victim told authorities that Davis had been making numerous harassing calls and sending her menacing messages.
Following an investigation, a warrant for aggravated harassment in the second degree—an A-misdemeanor—was issued by the Town of Cato Court. While the warrant was active, Davis remained in custody in Oswego County on separate charges.
Upon his release from Oswego County Jail, he was immediately transferred into the custody of Cayuga County deputies and subsequently arraigned at Centralized Arraignment, where an order of protection was issued against him.
Davis was released and is scheduled to appear in Town of Cato Court on February 17 at 6 p.m.
