A Cayuga Heights woman, reported missing amid a mental health crisis, was discovered dead near a creek at Taughannock Falls State Park on Tuesday.
State police, park police, and the Trumansburg Fire Department collaborated in the search and recovery effort. Authorities located the body near a trail in the park.
No foul play is suspected, though the investigation remains active as officials continue gathering details.
