Cayuga County authorities are searching for 21-year-old Thomas “Tommy” Ivery, who was last seen on December 14 near his Port Byron apartment. His case is being treated as both a missing person and probation violation investigation.
Deputies have issued a bench warrant for Ivery, who was previously charged in 2023 for bringing a BB gun to Auburn Junior High. He faced multiple charges, including possession of a weapon on school grounds and endangering a child.
Ivery was last seen wearing a white jacket and accompanied by his Black Labrador, which has since been found in Auburn. The search remains ongoing.
