A Dundee man is facing charges related to the sexual abuse of children under his care as a foster parent. Ronald Chilson, 48, was arrested following an investigation into alleged abuse between 2022 and 2023. He appeared in Yates County Supreme Court on Jan. 27 to hear charges including third-degree rape, incest, and endangering the welfare of a disabled person.
This is the second time Chilson has been charged for these offenses. He was previously arrested in July 2024 on charges of first-degree sexual abuse and other serious felonies involving minors.
Authorities encourage anyone with information on child abuse to report it anonymously through the New York State Child Abuse Hotline.
