Seneca Falls residents will vote on Feb. 18 to approve or reject the Bridgeport Fire District’s plan to purchase a new fire truck. The vote will take place from 6-9 p.m. at the firehouse on West Bayard Street.
The proposed $1.2 million purchase would be financed over 15 years, with up to $50,000 from capital reserves and proceeds from selling a 2004 pumper.
The fire district, which serves the entire town, is seeking voter approval for the expenditure.
