CMAC has announced that Train will perform on Friday, August 8 in Canandaigua as part of the upcoming summer season. The multi-GRAMMY Award-winning band will be joined by special guest Edwin McCain.
Tickets for the highly anticipated show go on sale Friday, January 31, at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster.com. Fans can also register for an artist pre-sale beginning January 29 at 10 a.m. at Train’s official website, savemesanfrancisco.com.
Train, a San Francisco-based band with a diamond-certified record, has been a powerhouse in the music industry since 1994. The group has achieved 14 Billboard Hot 100 hits and six Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 chart. They are best known for iconic tracks such as “Drops of Jupiter,” which earned two GRAMMY Awards and achieved RIAA 7x platinum status, and “Hey, Soul Sister,” the best-selling single of 2010 that reached Diamond certification and surpassed one billion Spotify streams in 2022.
The band’s extensive accolades include three GRAMMY Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, and 24 Top 10 hits across various Billboard charts. Their success spans decades with hits from albums such as California 37 and My Private Nation.
Opening for Train is Edwin McCain, best known for his chart-topping ballads “I’ll Be” and “I Could Not Ask for More.”
The show is part of CMAC’s 2025 lineup, continuing the venue’s tradition of hosting world-class artists in the heart of the Finger Lakes.
