This month, six planets align in a rare celestial event, with Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars visible to the naked eye, according to NASA’s Preston Dyches.
Venus and Saturn will appear closest on January 19-20, while Jupiter shines brightly in the south, and Mars glows reddish in the east.
Uranus and Neptune, faint but visible with telescopes, add to the spectacle. Venus will remain prominent through April, peaking in brilliance in February.
Saturn and Jupiter will shift visibility times later in the year, while Mars stays visible in opposition this month. Stargazers can enjoy this unique alignment under clear skies before the event concludes.
