The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Farmington man with harassment following an investigation into a December domestic incident.

Authorities said Matthew Allen Marshall, 45, of Marlette Drive, was arrested on January 16 at 3:43 p.m. He faces a charge of harassment in the second degree, a violation. The arrest stems from an incident reported on December 28.

Marshall was issued a criminal summons on January 13, signed by Judge Lew of the Town of Farmington. He is scheduled to appear in Farmington Town Court on January 27 to respond to the charge.

The Sheriff’s Office did not provide additional details about the December incident.
