An 82-year-old woman sustained serious injuries after being struck by a car in Waverly on January 4. The incident occurred near the intersection of Chemung and Clark Streets shortly after 6 p.m.
Police reported that the woman was crossing the street outside of a crosswalk when the driver, who was uninjured, was unable to avoid the collision.
The injured woman was transported to the hospital for treatment.
