A 64-year-old Rochester woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon after trespassing at Eastview Mall despite being previously banned from the property, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Karen Marcia Gath, of Skyview Center, was taken into custody around 2:55 p.m. with assistance from East View Mall security. Authorities said Gath had been barred from the premises following an earlier incident but returned in violation of that order.
Deputies reported that Gath was arrested without incident and issued an appearance ticket for trespassing. She is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to address the charge.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the matter.
