The Phelps Lions Club successfully completed its annual Christmas Basket Project, brightening the holidays for 45 families and 105 children in 2024.
With support from local businesses, the United Church of Phelps, and A Cutting Edge Salon, community members donated gifts based on tags displayed at various locations. Volunteers organized and packaged the gifts, including gift cards for food and essentials.
On December 21, Boy Scout Troop 46, sponsored by the Lions Club, helped deliver the packages, ensuring a joyful Christmas for local families.
