A Seneca Falls man was arrested Monday after failing to appear in court on multiple misdemeanor charges, prompting a bench warrant for his arrest.
Dejon O. Butler, 25, was taken into custody by the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department on December 23 after failing to respond to a scheduled court date.
Butler had been previously arrested for two counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree, a Class A misdemeanor, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, also a Class A misdemeanor. Following his failure to appear in court, a bench warrant was issued.
Butler was located and taken into custody without incident. He was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he awaits arraignment.
