A Rochester woman was arrested Wednesday after allegedly stealing merchandise from Dick’s Sporting Goods at Eastview Mall, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Emilia Maria Rosario, 31, of Garson Avenue in Rochester, around 4:59 p.m. for petit larceny. Authorities say Rosario took $110 worth of merchandise from the store located at 200 Eastview Mall Drive.
Rosario was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
Petit larceny is a misdemeanor under New York law, punishable by fines and potential jail time.
