The Gorham Town Board will hold its final regular meeting of the year on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Gorham Town Hall. The meeting will also be accessible via Zoom for remote participants.
The agenda includes several key items of business, including a vote to adopt a resolution declaring a surplus highway truck, approving a holiday extra day off for employees, and addressing necessary budget transfers. Additionally, the board will consider appointments to the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) and the Planning Board.
Reports will be presented by various town officials, including the Water/Wastewater Chief Operator, Highway Superintendent, Zoning Officer, and the Town Clerk. The board will also audit and approve bills as part of the regular business.
An executive session is planned to discuss personnel matters, including issues related to appointment, employment, or potential disciplinary action.
Residents are encouraged to attend and share their thoughts during the Privilege of the Floor segment, which offers an opportunity for public comment.
The next board meeting is scheduled for January 15, 2025, which will serve as both the organizational and regular meeting to kick off the new year.
