A Rochester man was arrested early Saturday after fleeing a traffic stop in Lyons and later being apprehended in Geneva, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Leonard B. Jones Jr., 43, of Roycroft Drive, faces charges including obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, resisting arrest, unlawful fleeing in a motor vehicle in the third degree, and driving while ability impaired by drugs.
Deputies attempted to stop Jones’ vehicle on Geneva Street in Lyons, but he fled the scene. He was later caught with assistance from the Geneva Police Department on Dixon Avenue in Geneva. Jones was issued an appearance ticket and is set to appear in the Town of Lyons Court at a later date.
