Residents of the Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District will vote on Dec. 11 on a $35 million Campus Forward ’24 project, according to the Finger Lakes Times. The proposal includes upgrades to music rooms, a multipurpose turf field, and roof replacements. Other improvements target parking lots, tennis courts, safety entrances, and HVAC systems.
The district emphasized no tax levy increase, with funding sourced from an $8 million reserve and state building aid covering 87.7% of approved costs. If passed, design work would begin immediately, with construction starting in 2027.
Voting runs from noon to 9 p.m. at the former Middle School Library, with strong community support indicated by a survey.
