“123456” takes the top spot yet again as the most popular—and easily hacked—password for both personal and corporate accounts, according to a NordPass analysis. Despite countless warnings, millions of users continue to rely on these simplistic and vulnerable combinations.

Top offenders for personal accounts include “password” and “qwerty123,” while corporate users also favor “secret” alongside basic number strings. Experts warn these passwords can be cracked in under a second. To enhance security, consider longer, unique passwords and a reliable password manager.
