The panel, appointed by President-elect Donald Trump, aims to propose sweeping changes, including mass layoffs, regulatory cuts, and restructuring federal agencies. Critics question whether Musk’s companies, which have billions in federal contracts, will be affected by the proposed cuts.
DOGE, set to report its findings by July 4, 2026, has drawn thousands of responses on social media, with Musk confirming the authenticity of the account’s statements by sharing its posts.
