Goodwill of the Finger Lakes welcomes three new board members

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes has announced the addition of three accomplished professionals—Mark Harris, Ronalyn Pollack, and Michael Della Porta—to its board of directors. Each new member will serve a three-year term beginning with the 2024-25 board year.

“Our board represents the very best of our community, and we welcome their distinct perspectives, experience, and leadership,” said Jen Lake, President and CEO of Goodwill of the Finger Lakes. “We look forward to working together to strengthen the communities we serve through our retail footprint and community impact programs.”


Mark Harris, director of finance and administration at St. John Fisher University, brings expertise in finance, risk management, and higher education. Harris holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA and Doctor of Business Administration from Wilmington University, and is a member of the university’s President’s Cabinet.

Ronalyn Pollack, director of training and community engagement at the Center for Dispute Settlement, is a well-known advocate for women and Indigenous people. She has served on numerous boards, including the Indigenous Health Coalition and RASE Commission, and holds a Bachelor of Science in social work from Roberts Wesleyan University.

Michael Della Porta, chief technology officer at Butler/Till and founder of Della Porta Consulting, adds over 20 years of marketing and advertising industry experience. A graduate of RIT with an executive certificate from MIT, Della Porta specializes in digital transformation and has served in multiple advisory roles, including with the Greater Rochester Quality Council.

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes’ board comprises 17 leaders from diverse business and community sectors across the region, united in their commitment to advancing the organization’s mission.
