A Seneca Falls woman was arrested this week after multiple theft complaints involving fraudulent transactions at Walmart, police said.
Colette Teneyck, 38, was taken into custody on November 3 at 12:09 p.m. following investigations that allege she conducted a series of thefts by scanning less expensive items in place of pricier merchandise on three occasions.
Teneyck faces three counts of Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor, and three counts of Falsifying Business Records in the first degree, a class E felony.
After processing at the Seneca Falls Police Department, Teneyck was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to respond to the charges in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
