Residents of Penn Yan and Milo are invited to a public hearing Wednesday night to address concerns and rumors surrounding a proposed affordable housing development at the former McFetridge farm.
The project, located behind Tractor Supply on Old Route 14A, plans to create 200 residential units, including single-family homes, townhomes, and senior-living apartments. Approximately 50 units will be affordable for entry-level wage earners, helping local businesses grow.
Officials the hearing will dispel misinformation, including false claims about illegal immigrants filling the apartments. The hearing will take place at 6 p.m. at the Penn Yan Village Hall.
