The Western Wayne Art Group will hold its first meeting of the 2024-25 season on Tuesday, September 17, at 7:00 p.m. at the Walworth Town Hall, 3600 Lorraine Drive. The meeting will feature a presentation by local photographer Kimberly Ferguson, who is known for her unique focus on abandoned buildings, urban decay, and eerie subjects like “creepy dolls” and ice bubbles.
Ferguson, a resident of the Finger Lakes area since 1991, draws inspiration from history and photography. Her passion for capturing abandoned industrial sites began after attending a workshop at Buffalo’s Silo City in 2015. She also enjoys photographing nature, animals, and sunsets.
The Western Wayne Art Group invites artists and art enthusiasts to attend their monthly meetings, which include presentations, workshops, and opportunities to display artwork. Visitors are always welcome.
