Jessie Jensen of Seneca Falls has been awarded the Edward J. Kiernan Memorial Scholarship by the International Union of Police Associations. A Midlakes High School graduate, Jensen is pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health and Trauma at Keuka College.
The $2,500 scholarship recognizes Jensen’s commitment to crisis intervention and her father’s dedication to the New York State Police. Jensen expressed gratitude, attributing the honor to her father’s influence and her dedication to mental health support.
Jensen will begin her MSW internship at Midlakes in September, aiming to assist law enforcement with crisis patients. The scholarship supports her pursuit of a career in public service.
