Embrace Your Sisters (EYS) is gearing up for its 13th annual Positively Pink in Pittsford Walk on September 29, a community event dedicated to supporting breast cancer patients with emergency financial assistance.
The walk, which begins at 10 a.m., will take participants on a scenic 1.8-mile route along the Erie Canal, starting and ending at Pittsford Sutherland High School. Registration opens at 9 a.m., with early check-in available. Walkers who raise at least $30 will receive a commemorative event t-shirt.
EYS, a volunteer-driven nonprofit, provides crucial financial aid to breast cancer patients across 13 counties in Upstate New York, helping them cover daily living expenses during treatment. Last year’s walk raised $14,000, and the organization hopes to surpass that amount this year.
