Waterloo woman injured in deer collision

A single-car accident in Waterloo resulted in minor injuries for Jodie Heys, 59, on July 10. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reported that Heys was driving south on State Route 96 when she struck a deer around 9:32 PM.


The impact caused the airbags to deploy, leading to Heys’ minor injuries. She was transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance for further evaluation.

Border City Fire Department assisted at the scene.
