Cayuga Community College has proposed a $27.7 million budget for the 2024-25 academic year.
The budget, approved by the college’s board of trustees, requests $3,216,713 from Cayuga County, a $47,538 increase from last year.
The budget includes a 3% tuition hike, bringing in over $7.3 million in tuition payments.
Other revenue increases include higher chargeback payments from other New York counties and out-of-state tuition, totaling $650,000, driven by more international students.
