LATEST UPDATE: Tornado Warnings Around the Finger Lakes
The strongest thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes that prompted more than a half dozen tornado warnings across the Western Finger Lakes between 1:30 and 3 p.m. have moved into Central New York.

The National Weather Service is continuing a Tornado Watch until 9 p.m., which means storms that develop will still have the potential to cause damage via straight-line wins or even spin-up tornadoes. Frequent lightning and heavy rain will also be common across these storms.
