Penn Yan Man Pleads Guilty to Drug Sale Leading to Death

A Penn Yan man will be sentenced at the end of August after pleading guilty to selling a drug that led to another person’s death.

Ted Miller, 66, admitted in Schuyler County Court to a felony charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance. Authorities said the drug sold by Miller contributed to the person’s death shortly after the sale.

The case was prosecuted by Schuyler County Chief Assistant District Attorney Jeremy Hourihan.
