The Cayuga County Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is now open to the public at a temporary location inside the Cayuga County Public Safety Building.
County Clerk Brian Scanlan confirmed that the DMV is accepting both walk-ins and appointments.
The DMV relocated due to the closure of the Cayuga County Office Building for roof repairs, expected to last until the end of August. The building’s roof was damaged by a windstorm in January.
