Geneva rotary extends college loan deadline for high school seniors

  • Staff Report

Geneva High School seniors now have until June 30 to apply for interest-free college loans offered by the Geneva Rotary Club.

The loan program, a long-standing initiative since 1923, provides up to $1,500 per year for students pursuing two-year or four-year degrees. Graduates begin repaying the loan three months after finishing college, with a minimum payment of $100 per month. Loan repayment can be deferred for those continuing to graduate school.

Applications are available on the Geneva Rotary Club website and must be submitted by June 30. Accepted applicants will be notified in July and must provide a signed Promissory Note with a co-signer. For more information, visit genevarotaryclub.org.
