A Seneca Falls man was arrested after a burglary and menacing incident on June 10 at 8:15 p.m. Police responded to a report of a man threatening residents with a weapon at their home. Luis Santiago, 27, was found nearby and identified as the suspect.
Officers discovered Santiago carrying a bag containing cocaine. He was charged with several felonies, including first-degree burglary, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and first-degree menacing. He also faces misdemeanor charges for coercion and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Santiago is being held at the Seneca County Correctional Facility awaiting arraignment. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest.
