Seneca County Manager Kyle Lovell has been placed on paid, administrative leave.

That news was confirmed this morning by Board of Supervisors Chair Mike Enslow, who told FingerLakes1.com that the decision for him to go on paid leave came after ‘unforeseen circumstances’.

He said that due to the issue being a personnel matter, no additional information could be shared.

The Board of Supervisors held a special meeting Sunday evening.

Lovell, a 39-year-old Liverpool native, was hired as deputy county manager in June 2023, and succeeded Mitch Rowe upon his retirement in the fall of that year.
