The Humane Society of Schuyler County has announced Adam Smith as their new Director of Operations. Smith, a native of Sayre, Pennsylvania, and a Wake Forest University graduate, previously worked as Director of Operations and Facility Manager for the Martha’s Vineyard Museum.
“As we position the Humane Society of Schuyler County to serve the future needs of both the residents and animals in our community,” said Chad Hendrickson, Chairman of the Board, “it’s vital that we are staffed with skilled people, like Adam, to address both the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.”
The Humane Society of Schuyler County, a 501(c)(3) organization, is the only animal welfare agency in the county, offering low-cost spay/neuter services, pet adoptions, and community resources.
