Mets lose third straight to Phillies

The New York Mets (19-23) suffered a third straight loss to the Philadelphia Phillies (31-13) on Wednesday night, falling 10-5 at Citizens Bank Park.

J.D. Martinez launched his second home run of the season in the loss, while Jeff McNeil and Mark Vientos had run-scoring doubles. Tomás Nido chipped in an RBI single as part of a two-hit game.


Joey Lucchesi surrendered five runs on five hits in 4.1 innings. Grant Hartwig gave up two before Adrian Houser allowed three (one earned) over the last two frames.
