Phelps restaurant gets new name and renovations

Geneva-based restaurateur Kevin Dombrowski is taking on a new challenge in Phelps with his acquisition of the Local Palate, a popular café and grocery store.

The Finger Lakes Times reports that the establishment, which will be renamed Forage, is a partnership between Dombrowski and Megan Kasperek. She will remain as general manager.

The transition comes after Dombrowski’s successful relocation of his barbecue joint, The Rusty Pig, to a new site in Geneva.

Forage, situated at 91 Main Street in Phelps, will undergo renovations too.
