Man charged with assault after violent attack at Seneca Falls hotel

On April 29 during the early-morning hours Seneca Falls police arrested Ryan L. Wile from Oswego following a violent incident at the Quality Inn. Wile was initially detained after allegedly striking another individual multiple times, resulting in serious injuries that required immediate medical treatment.

Further investigation into the incident uncovered that Wile had used metal knuckles during the assault. This discovery led to an escalation of charges against him, including three counts of Assault in the second degree, classified as Class D felonies.

Additionally, Wile faces a charge of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the fourth degree, a Class A misdemeanor.

After processing, Wile was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear back in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date to face these charges.
