The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Phelps woman for DWI after an incident at the Midlakes school playground.
Deputies were called there around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday for the report of a suspicious condition.
Upon investigation, it was found that Shannon Forbes, 40, operated her vehicle in an intoxicated condition along Route 96 with a juvenile inside.
She was arrested for aggravated DWI with a child in the vehicle and transported to the Ontario County Jail for processing.
The charge will be answered at a later date.
