Deputies arrested a Phelps man on assault charges after an investigation into a domestic incident.
According to a news release, Christopher Chilson, 28, was arrested for third-degree assault after punching a person in the face.
The injuries sustained to the victim were not specified in a press release.
The assault charge will be answered at a later date. Chilson was taken into custody without incident, deputies said.
