Deputies say a Savannah man faces assault charges after a domestic incident.
On Saturday around 11 a.m. deputies arrested Christopher Burke, 20, for assault and criminal contempt.
The charges stem from an argument that turned physical between Burke and a family member.
It’s alleged that Burke struck the victim multiple times, and also bit them, causing injuries.
He was also in violation of a court order at the time of that incident.
Deputies took Burke into custody to await arraignment.
