Police arrested a Newark teen after a car was vandalized and burglarized.
Ian Axtell, 18, has been charged with criminal mischief and petit larceny.
Police say he smashed the window of a vehicle at the Newark High Rise Parking lot and then stole items from it.
He was already in custody at the Wayne County Jail on separate charges when arrested for the burglary.
