First responders were called to a serious multi-vehicle accident in Newark on Sunday.
The call was reported around 4 p.m. and initially described as a ‘mass casualty event’ on social media.
However, no fatalities were reported, according to our sources in Wayne County.
Multiple advanced life support vehicles were dispatched to the scene, as well as EMS vehicles from Newark-Arcadia, Wayne County EMS, Finger Lakes Ambulance, and Williamson Volunteer Ambulance Service.
Additional details on injuries or how many total vehicles were involved could not be confirmed.
