Newark names Robbin Bremer economic development facilitator

The Village of Newark has announced the promotion of Robbin Bremer to the position of Economic Development Facilitator. Bremer, who has served as the Deputy Clerk for the Code Enforcement and Economic Development Departments for nearly fifteen years, brings a wealth of experience and a strong connection to the Newark community.

A Newark High School and Cornell University alumna, Bremer resides in the village with her family and has been recognized for her professionalism and respect within the business community. Her appointment comes at a crucial time as the village embarks on the Downtown Revitalization Initiative and other significant projects.

Mayor Jonathan Taylor and Village Trustee Robert Bendix have both praised Bremer’s contributions to the village, highlighting her involvement in securing grants, including a substantial $10 million for the Downtown Revitalization Initiative. Her deep understanding of code enforcement and economic development is expected to be instrumental in her new role, guiding Newark through its next phases of growth and development.
